Earlier analytics was available only to the users who run ads on Twitter. The new activity analytics dashboard will help you understand your Twitter activity, the followers, their demographics, measure your engagements and learn how to make your tweets more successful, explore your interests, and track how your Twitter Cards drive clicks, app installs, and Retweets.
How to get access to Analytics?
Login to your Twitter account and go to analytics.twitter.com. Once you are logged in, you can view your dashboard with your tweet activities.
The dashboard shows you the number of impressions received for your tweets each day compared over the last 28 days.
Tweets and Tweet performance
Your Twitter Analytics dashboard provides you the detailed analytics of each of your tweets along with impressions, engagement and engagement rates for each tweet.
All the engagements are for the last 28 days with daily frequency. You can also view your engagement rates, link clicks, retweets, favorites, replies for the last 28 days.
The follower page displays the number of followers over a period of time, the top 5 most unique interests of your followers, top 10 interests of your followers, location of your followers, top cities, gender and profiles of those my followers follow.
Twitter card analytics shows a quick glance at how Tweets with your Twitter Cards drove URL clicks.
It also shows you how Tweets with your Twitter Cards affected your impressions, top performing Twitter Cards that drove clicks, links in Tweets with your Twitter Cards that got the most clicks, top accounts that tweeted links to your content, tweets with your Twitter Cards that drove the most clicks and top sources.
You can also export your analytics data into a spreadsheet for additional flexibility.
