It was one Diwali holiday trip that made the way to create one of the best startups in India, Redbus. Phanindra Sama, the founder of Redbus got the inspiration to build Redbus during a Diwali holiday trip to his hometown. Diwali is always special to Indians and we celebrate the festival of lights with full cheer where ever we are.

This Diwali season, the brands are competing each other to get recognized and get the maximum returns. We have seen eCommerce companies battling it out to increase sales in this Diwali season. The big billion day, whether it has an impact or not, has cheered up the festival season.

Pepsi India in association with Kurkure and Tropicana came up with a beautiful film for this Diwali. The 7 minute film showcases the emotions of those people who are staying away from their family and how they feel during the festival season. There are millions of Indians who are staying away from their family and who miss out celebrating these festivals with their loved ones. #GhatWaliDiwali film hopes to brighten up your life and make a difference.

Within two days of release the video have been seen by more than 3 lakh people on YouTube itself. The video has more than 2500 likes on YouTube and the numbers are still growing.

The film is created by JWT India and directed by  Vikramaditya Motwane of Udaan fame and featuring National Award winning actress Geetanjali Thapa.
