The strong user base of Zomato along with their strategic acquisitions will help them to have an edge over their competitors. Zomato’s biggest acquisition till date includes Urbanspoon which they acquired for $55M.
The online food services market in India is valued at over $14 billion (about Rs 86,600 crore) while the global market size is estimated to be $371 billion.
